Yeah I would call one in too. I have seen the idea of baiting then calling over that site. Ive been thinking of trying this idea myself. Ill I can say now it try try again. If your ever on this side shot me a line and Ill take you out for a try here :hello:

a ground blind/ tree stand would help a ton.  in the mourning with a tree stand the rising temp should carry your sent upward so less chance of them smelling you, also yotes have no need to look up no predators from there.  either way i would call away from the shooter, and try and draw one past the blind or shooter.  not to the shooter but past.   also find a place where there is more then one, more compition for food so they charge in harder and from more directions

I think the tree stand is what we are going to go with. Found a nice old tree with a place about 25 feet up to build a platform for him to stand comportably for long periods of time... We have lots of dogs around but its hard to see one after sun up.. To many red necks like me with rifles in the front seat.... JAMNG

Kudos to the guys that shoot them on the ground. Some serious skills there

Have shot 2 yotes and 3 foxes from a tree stand while deer hunting in WI and KS.
Have to make it a goal to take one on the ground this year
