Wishful thinking
« on: November 06, 2010, 08:12:36 AM »
Note the small buck in the background

This situation was unusual.  Two bucks on does crossed paths.  The does were probably together at one point as they seemed quite comfortable.  Both bucks seemed content that they had their doe.  Lots of posturing going on etc, but they were happy.  If they'd been a bit older, I am sure one would have claimed the herd.  Then little brother was also tagging along.  He was not welcome by either buck.

This was buck number two.

Doe in the front has buck number one.   UH OH, doe belonging to buck number two has decided to cross paths with buck number one.  Bone is poised for action.
