Hoping to set a new record
« on: November 07, 2010, 09:35:52 PM »
Looking at all the nice bucks shot this year is getting me siked.  I'm hoping to set a new personal record with a buck from the Alta unit with my quality deer tag.  Here is my best one so far.  I shot him on slide ridge several years back.

Here he is mounted next to a small buck I shot above Banks Lake.

you can accomplish that goal as long as you can walk away from the one that is not going to best that one.

Why are the antlers so dark on the plaque?

Might be hard to beat. Thats a great buck.  They are out there.  Might have to risk tag soup, but enjoy every second of it.

They are dark because I had just wiped the dust off them for the picture.  They are still wet in the picture.  I really hope I can find his big brother.  I have already decided to pass them all unless I think they are bigger.  Maybe on the last day I will dump a smaller one if the opportunity comes up.
