Just wondering if this cold weather has got the white tails rutting? Drew a late season tag and hoping they are.

Was out this weekend. Had about 9 WT does on one side of the road and 7 Mulies on the other side (5 does, a 2 pt and a spike). The 2 pt and spike were in the middle of the does with not a care. I did a bleat and the 2 pt snapped his head up real quick. He sat and stared at the truck for a bit and then went back to grazing. Now that it's dark coming and going to work don't see the deer I used to. Have not seen any WT bucks lately.

Saw a buck this morning running around with his head stuck to the ground, and mouth open wide. I could not see any does, but he was headed to a area where they are always bedded.

Hey, leave at least one for me! My muzzleloader permit season doesn't open until the 20th. Hoping for snow, snow, and more snow!!!
