i also know of an area that you cant hunt in whatcom county that had this past year a 10x13 deer... and also heard of a 5x7 on private land.
Sweet deal. Still looking for some land myself, getting harder to find every day.

This isn't the buck you're talking about is it Alec? I don't think he's a 10x13, but he's close. A friend emailed me these pictures. I guess this buck lives in the Yew St./Whatcom Falls area.

I've seen that sucker once or twice.  How recent are your pictures?  He wasn't quite that big when I last saw him.

I've never seen this deer myself. The pictures were taken last October.

Yeah, I saw a similar buck in the same general area in Bellingham 2 or 3 years ago.  I couldn't say for sure it is the same buck, but it sure looks pretty similar.  Not quite as big then though.

I never saw him, but I heard stories of a big buck coming out every morning this past summer where they were doing construction on the Guide.  Where they laid all that hay out for whatever reason, the buck would come out and feed right along the road.  I believe it was an 6x8 or something along those lines.  I only saw a two point and three point and a bunch of does in my commute all summer, but I definitely keep my eyes open whenever I drive through.
