I have permission to hunt the west side of the dunes on a dairy/farm ground plus I can access the dunes from that side and avoid all the crap and people on the east side  ;)

in your experience around tri cities area, do you have more luck in agrugultural areas, or sage areas, or mix of both?  how about by rivers/lakes?

I would say stick with the sage around ag areas this is easy to come by and watch the crp ground they can get in that crap and you will never see them! If you can find these 3 things coming together it's a good thing  ;)

400out I have spent a lot of time out there and the wind almost always blows from west to the east In the morning and then turns south about midday. Keep that in mind if your walking in from the west side. Good luck.

The dairy is awesome! I've seen "herds" of coyotes out there.
They get call shy quick though. Lots of dogs out there and there’s been a few lions out there in the last couple of years. Deer numbers are down out there due to the cats, dogs and outrageous numbers of hunters now days.

400out, I’m sure I know some of the same people as you ;)

we oughta get together sometime and kill some dogs out there.

I assume you are talking 5D rather than R.R.??

I have some access between the two also.

I usually wait until the snow comes.

BIGINNER - if you're wanting to work hard for them, get in the wilderness portion. lots of dogs out there and they're called at less.
