I would guess 120 so I don't think you are too far off.

Yeah I'm wondering why it's poor shot placement?  Obviously given the circumstances of this hunt, it was his only shot but otherwise why would it be "poor"?  If I've got a rest and what I'm shooting at is less than ~125 yards, I generally shoot them in the neck.

Nice buck, I shot one yesterday thats almost identical to yours. Rough scored him at 224 3/8 so your buck should be easily that
