Thanks.  I also ran into him about a week later.   He was with the solo wolf.   I thought I was going to see some action.  I had cut the wolf track, and was tromping along in the fresh snow.  I spotted Hood, and was shooting, then another buck.  They both had their doe.  The hood was about 3 minutes from mounting, then imagine he would have taken over the smaller guys deer.  Then all of a sudden two does came streaking through the bunch going MACH5....ALL OUT.   I was expecting a wolf on their ass.   The deer scattered.  Then 5 minutes passes and everyone continued on.   I have no idea what caused the does to come streaking through.

Wow, amazing pics as usual. That rack looks awesome, but still all I can think when I look at those pics is "How many steaks/roasts could I make out of a deer that size?!" :o
