Yeah that pretty much sums it up. There are also Grizzly bears here that are studied.

Cougeyes.. Great pics... Do you know when they started housing Mulies? When I was there in 85-90 they only had whitetails... Do they still have the elk there with the stomach plugs?

They had elk, sheep, and grizzlys from 94-98 when I was there. Not sure when or if they had deer during that time frame. I don't remember seeing them...

You'll have fun Russ. I'm very jeleous. I had a great 5 years there...
Here's a list of must do activities:
Hang on dunes down at Snake while hot weather lasts...sorority chicks in bikinis...
Hike Kamiak and drive up Steptoe butte with a lady late at night...
Bike Moscow mountain and watch out for rutting moose
Get down past Lewiston and find huge bighorns
Drive to the top of a wheat field at night and drink a few cold ones with buddies
Chukur hunt on the Snake breaks after school
Turkey hunt the blues
Steelhead fish the Snake/Clearwater
Pheasant hunt the area around Pullman
Leave Seattle at 1 AM and drive 100mph to Pullman in 3 hours
Go skiing to Schweitzer
Go drinking at redneck bar in the middle of nowhere: Slurp & Burp
There you go. I'll think of a ton more. I tried to focus on outdoor related activities...

.. Jump off Granite Point (at night)
The Animals are out Farm Way about half a mile on the right.

Pope you basically summed it all up. A few things not to do: Dont think just because you take two trucks to go drive around the primitive roads at night after a snow storm and snow drifts that you are safe....if one gets stuck the other can pull you out, right? No one ever asked what happens if both trucks get stuck. Watch out for the crazy guy in Albion by the gravel pit, eventhough there is feel free to hunt land there, he thinks he owns it, oh yeah and just because its feel free to hunt land I guess doesn't give you permission to just go shooting?
?
You forgot to put fish the ronde on your list, enterube behind the truck out in albion on the primitive roads, get wasted and dance in the "cage" at the bar (may not have had that when you were here). I dont think they offer rifle or bow Peact classes, but they do offer fly-fishing. There is a lot of land to gain access to so i suggest doing it when you get here and you'll be set for the duration of your time here.
