Yard buck

Went out tonight to play with my new lens and had to settle for a couple pics of a local buck!  He was rutting pretty good and giving a bunch of does a hard time!   Got a pic of a pheasant under some brush as it was getting late!    Here they are....

too bad you didn't go get that pheasant for dinner!  :drool: its amazing you were able to get into a position to be able to get a pic of a pheasant.... those sneaky buggers......

   Those are good pics of a nice buck if he makes it through to next year, he will be a real shooter...

Right outside La Grande,   I hear there is a big buck in town tho so I will try and find him tomorrow!   The new lens is a 70-300 nikon.
