Piebald crow!

A few years back I bought this hunting magazine that talked about crow hunting and it showed a picture of a piebald crow that had been mounted and it talked a little about how rare it was. I got to thinking about when I have ever saw one and I dont think I ever have. (something that odd would stand out in my mind.) Well towards the end of september I was pulling out of my driveway and there was about 10 crows walking around and there was a piebald sitting there plain as day! His big feathers at the end of his wings were a grey color and he had few other greyish feathers scattered all over him. I tried like hell to get a cellphone pic of him but he flew away before I could get it. Then a week later, I am driving to the store down the road from my house and I see a flock of crows sitting there on the edge of the highway and I slow down and look and there he is again! Later that day I see my dad and he mentions to me how he saw a spotted crow down the road from the house too. After that my dad and I were trying like hell to find this crow again so we could get a decent photo with a good camera and after a couple weeks we never saw it again and figured it migrated, got killed or whatever. So yesterday morning my dad and I pull in the driveway and there is a flock of like 30 crows in the front yard so we stop and look and there he is! My dad had his good camera with and he goes like hell trying to get it turned on and zoomed in and just when he is about to take the pic, the whole flock flys away. 
I know there is a few people who crow hunt on this website so my question is how rare of a bird is it? Is it worth shooting to maybe have mounted? I have a foxpro so I dont think calling it in would difficult. I would at least like to have a photo of the damn thing too.

I say shoot it.  Have it mounted.  Then take pictures of it!

From what I understand they are pretty rare.  Get your ecall out and call him in to the gun or camera. If you have a couple crow sounds you should be able to keep them around long enough for some photos. I would shotgun that sob and have it mounted.

funny i just seen a piebald crow for the first time a few weeks ago, couldnt believe it. its the first one ive ever seen

After thinking about it a little bit, Im not sure if Im going to shoot it. I cant really afford to deal with getting it mounted right now so Im thinking I'll just call it in and get some good pictures of it at least.
I do have a few crow calls on my Foxpro and the few times that Ive used it, crows came out of nowhere everytime I used it. I actually used it here on my property last month to try and call the piebald in and I called in several crows but no piebald.

If you get 30 crows at a time in your driveway it sounds like you need to buy a pellet gun...

we have these in Iraq, I have only been able to get 1 but he flew down on the other side of the fence so no picture  They are very smart kinda like Ravens.  Now that I am down to Blowgun I don't think I will be bagging one

Normally crows are never on my property but lately there has been  several different big flocks that will show up and just be hanging out in random places on my property. Not sure what there is for them to eat exactly in grass and dandelions considering thats where they spend there time.
