The guys that helped me with my hunt hit that unit for the spike opener and said they saw a "PIG"!!  Woner if it was the same one.....nice job on your bull!

One of the most amazing stat's for that area is the cow to bull ratio, has to be 100/1.  They need to offer serious cow tags, control native slaughtering or limit the number of spike tags.  I didn't want my tag going into the spike hunt because all the big bulls head into Dark Canyon, steep nasty country where us two leggers just can't safely go.

I took him on the Eastern edge of the Asotin Wildlife area.  I chose this spot for my morning hunt because we had spotted a large herd 100+ on private land a few ridges over a day or two earlier, knowing a party of spike hunters were going after them and chances are they would push them my way.  It worked, just not the bull I was hoping for.
