Here's a setter I got that will be ready for a drop off to wherever along I-90 upon return from his second South Dakota trip the first week of December,I want nothing for him,he's a freebie,I would consider him a good beginning pointing dog owners first dog, not much range, lots of natural ability, this is a picture I snapped of him last year on point at 8 months old in South Dakota. He's been neutered due to an inherited defect of only one decended testicle.I killed a bunch of wild roosters over him(over 30),some penraised wetside release birds and some chukars in Yakima with him last year.He ain't my kind of dog for field trialing. The breeder has refunded my intial buy in due to the inherited defect and I'm on the hook for the neutering and hip X-rays which show Xcellent according to my vet with 20+ years experiance(I had it done while he was knocked out for the nut job).I'd just like for him to have a good home(not housebroke,I'm one of them evil kennel dog guys). His Breeding is Ch Tekoa Mountain Patriot X Southwind Sunset Rock(She is By Ch Alamance Little Rock and out of Cane creek Vada) Classic 11X CH Tekoa Mountain Sunrise linebreeding.
BTW that is a Garmin around his neck and the biggest cast in South Dakota where you can SEE the next time zone was..................................82 yards.I hunted him last week in Western Washington and it was on average 40 at a whopping 5 MPH

As compared to my Rocker and roller,Earth mover and shaker AKC field Champeen with an average range on the wetside of 250 yards,Eastside open ground 400+ of zero breeding...............I'm contemplating an ear punch 25,000$ cloning of this sucker....................His typical 2 HOUR run on the garmin is.........18 miles at 11 mph.

This picture was taken of our GSP and Lab combo on a North Dakota trip. Have to be prepared for a wide range of temperatures!

Heres my little Brit who isn't quite 2.5 years old yet. She finished her AKC Horseback Field Champion 2 weeks ago and I foot hunted her last weekend in Pennsylvania. Not too bad for a dog that weighs 30lbs soaking wet, but runs the same speed off horseback on the GPS as Wildweeds setter.

My 5 year old English Pointer...Ive had Britts, Setters, and now a Pointer and he has sold me. The short hair makes for really easy maintenance in burrs, and also traps less snow between his pads. Very Very hardy, low maintenance dog.
