If my dog got lost in the woods because I drove off too...nevermind
Or jumped up while I

If I started over with dogs,I would definitely do a GWP/Drathaar.
I love the GSP,but a GWP is a water dog too.

Side note.I saw one at the "Coliseum" outdoor show years back.Sat and played with the pup.
A year later I walked towards the booth and this dog sat there and waited for me like he knew me.He started watching me from about 50 yards away.
Not sure if it was the same dog,but it was strange
The breeders are a little strange also.

My girl doin some training

BAHAHHHAHHAHHAHhahahahHAHAHHA
(gasps for breath) AAAHAHHAHAHBAHHHHAAAAAA :chuckle:

I was at a hunting dog training clinic in Ellensburg a few years back.  Was a little bit worried since I was sure I'd have the only flushing breed... no worries though since another had a standard Poodle and he was by far the most interesting oddball there.  Had a hellofa stylish point and birdiness like crazy.  I used to work with the service dog training folks at Paws with a Cause in Grand Rapids, and we were all delighted when a Standard Poodle was in for training as they were by far the easiest and quickest learners.  When I am too old to change my own drool cup and shawl, I plan to get a Standard Poodle to take care of me... I am damn sure the Clumbers will just roll me over by the cookie jar and leave me there....

Right on, Bluemoon, great pic. I showed that one to my wife because she loves poodles. I know one other guy that hunts with one.
