scam....dont waste your money....period....just go buy 20 dollars worth of apples which are very effective. You can freeze them until you use them.

:yeah: Even better, just find someone with apples all over their yard and ask to help them clean up.  A lot of people around me just let the things rot and would love to have someone clean them out of there yard.

I've never used this product but did see it at the store, seemed really over priced to me.  I thought if it was cheap enough I'd give it a try but the price scared me off. Mike

They have great marketing for the product, even the deer cane stuff is a crock I believe. I have put it in areas with tons of deer and never had any of them "eat the dirt" or much less give it a second chance as they went by it. Buck jam on the other hand I have seen to be effective i guess because of the smell if you go this route, get the malasses or corn flavor.

I have tried using it for blacktail and I have had no success with it I even put it in one spot where the deer quit using the spot not saying the cameer deer did it but it's possible

Agreed. They really seem to love the molasses.

making your own is not a bad idea and it can be cheap too....many grocery stores throw out produce that is going bad or is projected out of date just talk to the local produce guys and see what you can get....sometimes they can be dicks though

Funny
I had a guy I hunt with bring it to Mule deer hunt, we all laughed at him and he dumped it at a friends place down near Methow river and they said the whitetails loved it

90% of this deer attractend is made for whitetails..Now some folks will say " A deer is a deer and the bait don't matter". Well yes it does..Whitetails eat different food then blacktails..Totally different feeding habits..Easy to pattern a whitetail, just watch your watch, and there you go.. Do that with a blacktail and you just found out what time they came out in that area that day..

I put some around a saltlick I put out this year (that the deer were using) and they quit coming to the saltlick..So know you tell me..

Maybe the elk will eat it..
