fixing sheds
« on: November 21, 2010, 08:09:31 AM »
I have some really nice WT sheds that have some damage to them (matched set, posted on the "sheds" forum). Is there anyway to repair them and make them look "complete"? I mounted them to a shed mounting kit but, I would like to see them more complete. Please let me know. Thanx

Dont have them on this computer. Look at the "shed hunting" forum, page 2, titled "matched set".

Epoxy Sculpt.  I'd drill the end of any point that is completely missing and epoxy a stud in to build on.  You'll need to also learn how to stain the antlers when it's all repaired.  Taxidermy.net is a good place for info.

:yeah:
I use Epoxie Sculpt but it does not stain like regular bone so you have to be careful and blend it.
