Where will be best upland for the holiday weekend?
« on: November 20, 2010, 08:55:32 PM »
I know there are no birds in eastern washington this late in the year , BUT if a couple guys wanted to get out and walk the pup around for a few days (Friday-Sunday) where should we go? We have a place to stay in we go Okanogan area and can always take the camper and head towards George/Tri Cities area and we maybe able to find some decent dirt around Pomeroy as well. I have a dog that I need to get on some more wild birds, I do not care what kind. I raise gamebirds but he has figured out he can outrun most of the pen raised ones :chuckle:. A few get into the woods deep enough and a few of the pheasants can really go, but for the most part he has them figured out. NOT LOOKING FOR HONEY HOLES! Just opinions on where will be good. Hopefully we will get a bit of snow between now and then. I get jealous each year after the first good basin snow when all the guys post those awesome pictures of great days in the fields when the birds hold :IBCOOL: and man it looks fun. Thanks, and good luck to all going out next weekend after anything.
