first black tail buck.

yea it was luck for me to get this buck. i got him on the run with open sights on my 30-30 marlin got him at 150 yards.    :) :) ;) ;)

If I go into really thick area I still use the 30-30 or shotgun.  The best way to do it.  A long shot I go for the scope.  Congrats on the buck.  You shot a dandy BT.

My first buck (3 point) was with a 30/30 Mod.94 shooting 170gr. soft point core lokt, at 15 feet at a dead charge..

Nice Buck! I got my first deer with a Marlin 30-30. It was a button buck from Pennsylvania a long time ago!
