i just picked up a arisaka 99 anyone ever hunt with one of these? just curious

the mum was filed off.... everything else is legit nice gun traded my shotty for it thinkin bout tradin t for something else

7.7 ammo is plenty powerful enough for big game and the action is one of the strongest as long as it wasn't one of the last production which you can tell they are very crude.   The safety sucks used to use a custom 99 for pred hunting in the 60's.
