Best Late Western M/L Elk GMU?
« on: November 23, 2010, 12:51:59 PM »
It looks as if I may be able to get away for 3-4 days during the western late hunt, in December.

I am hoping some of you will recommend to me what you think would be the best options among the available GMUS, such as the Coweeman or Issaquah, etc. I realize that none will be great, coming in as I am with little knowledge of those specific units. Still, it might be fun to try.

Thanks!

I just now saw this thread so sorry for the late reply.  I think pretty much all of the late ML units are the same ..crappy.  I have hunted the Coweeman the last couple years and have seen elk but no luck on getting a bull.  Could be different this year with the snow though.  Good luck, let us know how you do!
