They make noises?  :dunno:   :chuckle:

I think I heard one grunt at me years ago but we never hear anything but the fawns when they are in the back yard.  They just don't seem to make many sounds.

Very similar to whitetails for the most part. Just not as often or as loud in my experience. Though I once I heard a doe really laying on the estrus bleat. The resulting research brought me to an electronic call that had whitetail sounds and they were damn near exact.
