Whatcom County Grouse
« on: November 23, 2010, 05:16:11 PM »
Anybody hunt Grouse in Whatcom County?? How high do you guys go? Stick to forest service roads or highlands?

I've never hunted grouse before but was in Florida for Blacktail and had a disappointing late Blacktail season so I'm trying to find an excuse to get back out into the woods....

Try gravel roads that are out of service- they need the gravel for their digestion.  Be sure the road is not accessible to vehicles, though- big ticket.
