Steelhead Clinic (3 Rivers Marine)
« on: November 24, 2010, 03:14:49 PM »
I have been looking for a good steelhead clinic to go to this year. I found at Steelhead University that cost $88.00, but even better I found one at Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville that is $3.00 and you get free hotdogs. Can't beat that. Not to say that the one is better than the next, but I would save your money and come check it out. Call to register.

i hate those types of seminars, might be alright for some but for me the best way was to get out and start fishin. throw some eggs on the end of your line and you'll learn soon enough what works and what doesnt. easy to say, but took me a few years to get the hang of it but now its second nature. dont even realy need to know the river, once you learn how to read water you'll know where the fish are at and how to get them

Seminars can be good. You get to see what ever the latest gear is that some guide is trying to push for one of the tackle manufactures that sponsors him. :chuckle:

Ok a little off the topic here but you mention putting eggs on your line so where do you get eggs ?? are the  smashed up packs of glue you find on the store shelf even worth the time or are there better ones available ??

The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.
