season opens tomorrow and they won't give me a tag!

i lost my license and tags while elk hunting this fall.  went to white elephant today to get replacements.  they gave me the license and cougar tag, but said the archery deer tag was a 'no reprint'!  what!  they called the state office and the gal had no idea why they couldnt reissue the tag.  she said monday would be the earliest anything would happen with the holiday!   

anyone else ever have this problem?

I left my tag behind at home once a few years ago. Went down to the Curlew store and they gave me a new one, no questions asked.

yeah, its in there system, it should say on your license your purchases, screw them. That damn system of theres is down so much

I would go on line and there is a page that states what you have bought for the year, I carry mine with my tag in case I misplace one. Not the same as a tag  but if your going to go anyway as suggested above it would be better than nothing. Mike
