Minute too late
« on: November 25, 2010, 07:51:14 PM »
at 824 in the morning he was wrapping up business.   We watched him for ten at least courting his doe.  We new she was close.  He did his business and at 825 the competetion came busting out of the trees.

It was interesting to watch how the doe took him.  She laid down and would NOT get up.

This guy isn't.  He was too late for the spoils.   If the other buck wouldn't have done it when he did, I bet I would have filmed a fight.  The doe was obviously hot, and the two bucks were almost identical.

I'll post some of pics of him in a minute.

Here is another of "the competetion."   I love this one

I think these bucks were close enough in size there would have been one hell of a fight.

Great pics man. Drove through the canyon today and only saw 3 little guys and a bunch of does. I did see 2 nice rams following right behind a ewe for quite awhile, but I had to get to ellensburg so I didnt watch them for too long.
