Slick Trick Broadheads

I shot Wasp for years, but started using Slick Tricks last year upon recommedation of a friend and bow shop owner.  I like 'em alot.

Shot a spike elk with them last year and it left a bloodtrail like something punched a hole in an oil pan.

Like everyone else said they fly great, probably one of the best.

My only concern is the couple animals I've seen shot with them dulled the blades unbelievably, I mean to the point of rolling over the edge. Yes both animals were killed and recovered but i've never seen blades that soft, neither shot hit any major bones, just ribs.  If they would shore up the quality of the steel in their blades they would have the best head on the market.

Those blades are made to be single use on an animal and then replace.  I wouldn't even concider using replacable blades on multiple critters.

I wouldn't consider using them twice either but I do want a clean cut all the way through, the other heads I've used show wayyyy less damage to the edge after the shot.  Just my personal observations...

I seen the bh you are referring to ch. Im wondering if those weren't the older blades. Thought they changed something a couple years ago. The last few animals I've shot have not done the damage to the blades that his did. Guess I could of gotten lucky. I toss mine but probably could use em after a sharpening.

i like them but they didnt fly like my field tips out of my bow, but i do like a 4 blade broadhead over a 3 so i use them. i wish they would fly like shuttle t's for me, also a good broad head as far as flight goes

I'm pretty sure that the blades have been changed for this year.  I shot one into sand while tuning my bow for them and it dulled the edge pretty good but, I would imagine that any broadhead shot into sand at 20 yds would end up with similar damage.
