Ice Reports
« on: November 24, 2010, 09:14:57 AM »
Any ice fishermen around here?  If so, I thought it would be cool to start an ice report post - if you know for a fact the thickness of the ice on a lake, post it!

I hope to have a post in a couple of days - I may go do some exploring after this hard freeze.

Good to hear!   I was also told recently by a bud in the basin that the ice is on and building, but not walkable yet.  :dunno:
Might have to make the trip this weekend if I can swing it.

You may not want to come this weekend. We had temps in the mid 30's tha last few days and it was still above freezing whan I went to bed lastnight. Guess we are in for another cold spell and I am hoping by 2nd weekend in Dec to be ice fishing!

I have not been by eloika yet, but I drove by sprague on thanksgiving and it was completly frozen over but still had lots of wet spots.  You might be able to get ahold of jerrys landing for a report on eloika
