late season hunting the toutle
« on: December 05, 2010, 12:32:38 PM »
Well finally got a babysitter for the weekend, went all the way down and planned to hunt yesterday and today. Seen some elk yesterday only one small spike.

Then was going to sleep in the truck and hit it hard this morning. About 6 pm is when I figured out I left the sleeping bag at home, and decided it was going to be a cold night out there.

About 8pm is when I said screw it, going to head into Castle Rock and get hotel. About 805pm is when the truck slid off the road, I HATE BIG TRUCKS OFF THE ROAD......  3:30 this morning I finally got it out, lots of walking around and finding tree pieces to get me out of it.

Was back at the house by 5:30 this morning and getting into a warm bed to sleep.

1-15 Dec are the dates. I have everything locked in place( Babysitter) to be able to get back in there on Wednesday. Bringing the quad this time, There is a lot of state land that I can get back into a heck of a lot easier with that than the big truck.
