Best 2011 Bow Line
« on: December 05, 2010, 08:55:55 PM »
2011 is my year for a new bow.  Have shot alot of the 2010's.  Would like hunters opinions of what they think of the 2011's.  I know they're still hittin' the racks, so take your time.

Good hunting, Happy holidays,

I think the new Bowtech is supposed to be released on Jan 6.  I'm looking forward to seeing that one too.

Good hunting.

I bought myself a new bow this fall. I wasn't looking for a high end as this is only my second year bowhunting, but after trying several PSE, Martin, and Bear. I was suprized to find I liked the Bear best for the under $500 price range. It was much quieter, and smoother than the others. I would love to get a Matthews or Bowtech, but just can't justify the cost yet.

I've shot nothing but hoyt for years now.  Every time I get a new bow I shoot them all and still get the hoyt.  I've been getting a new one about every other year.

I've shot nothing but mathews and Bowtech for years now, but gotta admit am intrigued by the new Hoyt, the Carbon Matrix I believe it is called.  Not gonna be looking at it due to price, and my current bowtech is only 2 years old, but it is intriguing.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

I cant wait for the new Bowtechs!! I have shot them for the last 7 years. Started off with the Patriot dually. Loved that bow! Then I ended up getting an Allegiance. then a 82nd airborne. Didnt like the 82nd airborne as much as the Allegiance. I almost bought the Destroyer this year but wanted to wait and see what they come out with for 2011

I made the switch from Martin to Hoyts Vectrix in 08 and my bow before that was 10 years old, big differance. I feel it's all about preferance, what feels good to draw, weight, smoothness, etc. The new bows now are cadillacs and all shoot great. The bigger picture is can you take animals with it. Chevy, Ford, Dodge, same debate, but they get you from A to B.

What about the LimbSaver bows?  I actually have a buddy that has a couple of them for sale for a pretty reasonable price.  I think he even said he's got a BowTech Destroyer for sale too.  They are all brand new and come with a rest and sight.  I think he said $400 or $500 for the LimbSavers and $700 for the BowTech, but don't quote me on that.  If anyone is interested, send me a pm and I'll see if he still has any of them.
