Land near liberty lake?

Does anyone know of any landowners wanting to cull out some does?  I had permission well ahead of time with one landowner, only to not hear from him when the late season began.  >:(  Just looking to get a doe and get some meat in the freezer. I have knocked on a few doors but no luck sofar! Any tips would be helpful.
(by the way, this is for archery)
