My father in law has an Encore with several barrels good shooting... I just have a hard time justifying that kind of price  for a single shot when there are other bolt actions nearly as good for  the same price.  :twocents:

I have a TC Icon 308 that shoots moa all day long, Get the venture you wont be sorry.

I agree. I Have contenders, Encores and I just bought a TC Icon in 243 all are good shooters. Also I believe that Guns and Ammo picked the TC venture as the best rifle for 2010 comparing accuracy price and quality and it was compared against $1,000 dollar rifles.
