Well, I just put these on 6 arrows.  I read as much as I could about them and some said they slip on the shaft.  To increase the area on the shaft for the shrink tube to grab, I did not clean all of the old fletching off.  I ran a razor blade down them and left just a bit as some people online suggested.  I dunked them in boiling water and they are drying now.  Super easy and they don't feel like they are going to slip at all.  Now I have to find time to fire them.

Anyone else have any input on these?

I was thinking about getting some a couple months ago...but....the guy at the shop I go to said that he had a friend who used them and weight each arrow only to find that they each weighed different weights.  They varied from 5or 6 grains to over 20 grains different.  He thaught that water was getting trapped under the tubing?  If you have a scale, weigh them each and let us know what you find.

I used them on a dozen and a half arrows shot daily over several months before and after the season.  Shot them into, thru, over and under targets and only one of the wraps came loose.  I made the mistake of shooting a three arrow group at 40 yards and one arrow hit the wrap and made a little cut and it came loose and slid around.  The other 17 arrows are just like new and still going strong.  I thought I would try them, but ended up using and really liking them.

I use them on my arrows when I ruin my blazers. They work great and are a quick solution to getting back shooting for me. I don't fletch my own yet so boiling some water is much easier then taking them into the bow shop. I have had great success with their durability, I don't shoot groups to often any more so I have not had any trouble with them tearing and they have not had any wear from pass through shots with a couple of my targets. They do shoot slightly higher then my blazers....

I've hed pretty good luck with them staying put and shooting well.
