Yes. I wasn't able to go over this year, but I managed to get a cow in December 06 and a spike last December. I started going over there in 05 after looking though the hunting success reports for an area to try. It seemed to be a good possibility and so far I haven't been disappointed. If you look into the area, you'll find out there is very little public land and a good amount of housing, so quite a bit of the unit is pretty hard to hunt. The area doesn't hold many elk but they do seem to cruise through often enough that if you're there when they come through, you'll have a good chance. For me, that translates to spending quite a few days in a row out there. There are a few newer clearcuts that should be good for the next few years, but you'll have to knock on a few doors to get permission.
