Yep, it will be on again later in the day, check out the TV guide for later in the day on the Outdoor channel to watch a very interesting show.  Very interesting show on Wolves, population, damage, and conservation in the Northwest corner of the United States. Must See.

Wow. Some elk herds down 80 per cent and yellowstone down from 20;000 elk to less than 5;000 if they don;t get it figured out soon it could be to late.

What really sucks is even if they magicaly made the wolves vanish, 100% right now, how many years would it take to get the population of those elk herds back up to where they were before the wolves????  The damage the wolves can do to a herd in 1-3yrs will take well over 10+ years for those elk herds to repopulate and that's if we could make the wolves disappear NOW!!!  But we can't so the wolves will go on decimating these herds till the numbers are sooooo low that it will take a lifetime for them to repopulate.

Kill em, kill em all I say!!!  Wolves that is.

Obvioulsy I have missed the show, but 20,000 down to 5,000 WOW that is HUGE.   :dunno: :dunno:  Do they think that the wolves are just running around without killing everything? If those kind of numbers happen in Washington we are going to be screwed out of any kind of hunting so the wolves can eat.

I bet the elk populations would regroup fairly quick considering that wolves tend to run out most of the other predators. And with the numbers so far down there should be plenty of feed. But ya if something isn't done REAL quick, we won't have to worry about planning our elk hunts in the fall. Check out saveelk.com, unbelievable facts.
