Ok, so I've been using Hoppe's good O'l #9 for a long long time, And I still think its one of the best bore cleaners on the market for powder residue and for lead, however I've created some loads using the Barns all copper bullets and most modern bullets are copper plated anyways. So I'm looking for a new new bore cleaner and wanted to get some ideas. I was really looking into either Butch's Bore Shine or Montana X-Treme for a solvent...but there are many, many differnt solvents on the market!

As far as a Rust Preventive goes, I'm sure any oils will do, but I was looking at Gun Slick Pro Gun Seal or Shooters Choice FP-10 which I always have a bottle of anyways. Or is Rem-Oil just as good?
I only Polled for solvents, but want to get your ideas on rust preventives as well. Also I've heard mixed emotions of the use of cleaning jags. I currently only use cleaning jags on my muzzys, I just purchase a set of Tipton cleaning jags which covers all of my rifles and most of my hand guns, but have then been told that cleaning jags really don't do much

. I'm lost on the Jag issue, they do very well with my muzzle loader when used with a brass brush, why not with a modern firearm

.
Ideas and thoughts are welcome!!!
