Got my multi season
« on: April 15, 2008, 03:44:00 PM »
I guess the draw is official this time so I quickly purchased my multiseason elk tag before things change! My first step towards another eastside bull permit I hope. Now I just have to mail in my tax returns! nwhunter

Congrats on getting in soon enough before they invalidated the drawing.  It's good that the state let you keep it if you bought it quick enough.  By the way, there are no elk on the Eastside, better off to stay in the rain forest.  Good luck.

I just checked on the drawing, There computer said they have no record of my wild ID #?? So I went to check my hunting reports to make sure I had the right #.  Computer said all report were completed 1/5/08.. So how can they have me in the hunting report but not in the drawing??  :dunno:      I just fired off a dozen emails to Olympia.

Todd, Ya there are no elk over there!! I kind of like that elkless country in your neck of the woods so feel free to come and stumble around over here in this brushy wet nasty country. We welcome you with open arms.lol I don't know what is up with the draw system just glad I have my tag in my pocket which means I get to hunt the wetside if I don't get the tag I want. Goodluck to all. nwhunter

Successful applicants must purchase the permit within 15 days of the drawing notification date. If they have not purchased the multiple-season permit by the deadline, the next person drawn will be offered the permit. The multiple-season permit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
This is straight from the WDFW website

I dont know if they are referring to the day you get it in the mail or the day the drawing was held.  If it is the day the drawing was held, which was april 11th, a lot of peopl probably missed the deadline. :bash:

It's always a frickin grey area with this state. I called, notification was sent out last Friday and you have 15 days from the time you RECIEVE your notification not when they were sent out. I asked how they would know when I recieved it and was told when it was post dated  :dunno:   There you go!
