The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

They don't list any in stock but you can chose to be notified when they come in and, usually, chose from a number of Shops to have one shipped too.  Bought my Savage MK II that way from a guy that runs his gun shop from home, not to far from me.

Pretty much any FFL dealer can find/order one for you (a pawn shop is a good place to look).  I bought two from Wholesale Sports.  Whether you want to call them "entry-level" or "budget" (I call them dang good knock-around coyote guns), you will be very pleased with your choice.  The fit/finish isn't high-end and the stock isn't the best, but they can definitely shoot.  Both my .223 and .243 Steven 200 will easily shoot sub-moa.

Best groups (both rifles are wearing Swift Premiere 4.5-14x42 mil-dots):

.223 - .5" (at 100 yards) with various factory ammo.

.243 - .5" (at 100 yards) with a custom 60 gr sp load, and under 1.5" (at 200 yards) with the Hornady .58 gr moly-coated V-Max factory load.  This is the first and only time that the .243 has been shot.

... impressive for sub-$300.00 rifles.
