Oh yeah...I recognize that tree. :chuckle:

I like seeing those big "true" Roosevelt's.  I think every hunter in West WA. should have a big crowned out bull shoulder mount on their wall...nothin cooler.

Ooooh yeah!  If you grow up in Roosevelt country you know what it's about.  Soaking wet, covered in moss, fir needles, evergreen huck leaves, knee deep in Salall...that's what it's about...nothing more rewarding.  We don't need no 24" dagger tines....just give me a crowned out 280" - 300" Roosie.

Never seen one that big on the hoof before. It would be tough to keep it together trying to draw back on one of those monarchs!

Did your buddy kill this or is this the big bull that got hit by a car in the Willapa Valley the other day?  Dandy bull either way......but I did here about one that a guy hit with his van and then gave it to some guys in Frances that were butchering a muzzie kill.

steve is that a north river bull?  We went out last weekend ran into a few cows but no bulls.  I knew we should have left after we got that deer so quick.  Oh well that weather sucked down there.
Happiness is being in the woods!!!
