Mass
« on: December 20, 2010, 09:02:56 PM »
Since I killed this big bull, I"ve been looking at numbers and such in the books... one that always catches my eye is the "Mass". My bull has 9 1/8 inch H-1's... not shabby... but the biggest I could find was an Alberta bull with 14 1/2 and 13 inch H-1's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HoLY CRAP! Around the Burr on my bull is only 11 1/2! This thing has 3 more inches on his H-1! unreal.

Different forum, but does anyone know what the most massive mule deer was???

Remember that shed you guys had hanging in the rafters?  I think you might have found it at the dump.   Do you remember ever measuring it?

The buck of Justice or whatever his name was exactly, but I seem to remember him carrying A LOT of mass.  I think my shed has 7 inch.

Yeah, that shed was huge Doug, I'm sure I measured it a number of times, but dont remember.

I talked to someone who measured a bull a while back that was called the Moose Bull... His H-4 measurement was 13 1/2 inches!!!!

I was just thinking that if Mr. Mass was 7 1/2 on the H-1... that is Unreal!!!!

I hope your Dad kept that shed and he didn't leave it hanging in the rafters of the cabin. :chuckle:    I'm sure he's seen and touched a million bones since then but that thing was cool.   When I get a chance I'll measure my biggest and see what numbers come up.
