Multi Season Permit Clarification
« on: December 24, 2010, 10:47:35 AM »
First time to apply for the Multi Season permits and regs are confusing (imagine that).  Regs stated Multi Season apps available 12/1/2010 so went online and purchased both deer and elk on 12/1.  A week later get the 2011 printout and it states at the bottom Submittals begin Jan1 - 3/31.  Probably a dumb question, but do I need to sign and return this thing somewhere??? .... it didn't come with anything other than the standard license printout sheet.

One would think that doing this online, it would be done and done.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I'ld go back to dealer and get it straightened out. Sounds like they sold you an app for a draw that took place nine months earlier. Or at least get confermation you are in the 2011 draw.

I think you're probably OK.  A few years ago you had to purchase the application, and then submit it like you do with the specie permits.  I believe they changed the process so that it is submitted automatically.  My guess is that your application will be submitted automatically after January 1.  It sure wouldn't hurt to call WDFW licensing in Olympia to confirm that: 360.902.2464

I'm thinking bob33 is right on track here.  You should be just fine.  Double checking wouldn't hurt though.
