Macro type flower shots are fun.  Watch your focus point though.  It's really important with these types of shots.  It's perfectly focused below the flower where the stems originate. 

LOL, made me kind of laugh Mountainwalk...you seem like you are a big rough tough cowboy.  I can't imagine you taking pictures of flowers...lol.  Great job though.

thanks pope.. kinda shot it on a whim. just bought an older digital. my first real camera and not a throwaway...
well, as far as being rough and tough,,nah. i just be how i be. if you read the old trapper and mountain man journals, even these hard-bitten men, whos only thought was survival, took the time to study and to smell the flowers. i love the natural world around me, and not just the critters i pursue.
