I have not used it in the field yet but I've heard all kinds of good accolades

OK, I've used it. Not impressed. Slight breeze blows flame out. Don't waste your money on this thing.

Accolades?.....really? Don't start getting all technical now.  :chuckle: I have heard a lot of good things about it too but have yet to get my hands on one.
Just one more day

It was a gift, so you will have to Google it to find out.

We were told about it from friends that get deployed to sandy or high altitude regions of the middle east.

Seems like a great idea.  Looks like there is another brand at cabelas with bad reviews.

Does seem like a pretty great idea.  R U saying you got one for Christmas, Sisu?  If so let us know how it works when you get a hance.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

I placed a thumbs down on the thread and posted my personal opinion in the beginning. The guys we know that said this was a good item really have me wondering about their idea of what a good or useful backcountry item is.
Save your money don't buy it.
