I think it"s a year round season. Can't remember the limit but I think it's 10.

Is the taste of the bait worth the sting of the hook twice?

I used to spear those things like crazy back in the 70s. I'd work for a few months save money then my wife and I'd go climbing or skiing until money ran out. Back to Edmonds (this is when it was not an expensive place) where we rented a little two room house. We'd free dive for clams, crab, three prong all kinds of fish, (but the perch made up the biggest catch) etc. Basically we had a subsistence life style before we moved to Alaska. We'd always get hired by the same two companies every time we came back looking for work, too. We did a good days effort and the boss did not forget it.

Never mind I was just being lazy.

No min. size. Daily limit 15. Except SHINER PERCH daily limit 15: not included in
BOTTOMFISH limit.

Im going to go down within the next two weeks. Saw some nice troughs and channells close to shore this weekend. Clam digging was a little slow but we managed our 15.
