Quail's cleaning out the bird feeders...........
« on: December 31, 2010, 08:56:26 AM »

These were taken last year about this time of the winter.

We moved here a little over a year ago from MN and I just love watching and listening to these little suckers. In the winter months when they covey up we will see upwards of 200 in the yard and that's no BS. Between the Mulies and Quail my feeders go empty in a little as one night. Last night I woke up to the dogs freaking out at the front windows of the house only to see them barking at 6 Mulies walking down the street looking for food.

Here's a baldy from Rogers bar on Lake Roosevelt. Memorial day weekend 2010.
