Not sure where you're from but I'm in the tri cities and I'm in the same situation. There's a predator seminar today at wholesale sports in kennewick. 2 o clock. I've been looking for someone to do some coyote hunting with. I'll see if I get any good tips from the seminar and pass them on. My first coyote hunt this year (AKA first coyote hunt ever) I jumped one and put him down with a 12 guage. I've called 3 times since them and no luck. I know there are coyotes in an area I'm calling because the first day after a snowfall I went out and tracked one for 4 miles and it met up with 5 other fresh tracks. The one I tracked is the one I put down with the shotgun. Anyhow i"ll pass on any info I get

jgregg- thanks. Sounds like I missed a seminar over in this area, was out hunting instead. Saw 1 today, about 500 yards, down hill. Getting frustrated, I was ready to let a squirrel feel the blunt of it today.
