Actually Benchlegs have Blacktail tails, and muley everything else...  I'd call that one a Benchleg.

Its probably a cross but you'd have to have a biologist take some samples from it to b 100%  still its a shooter anyday in my book.

It looks like it was too fat to roll over, looks like he has a sleeping bag of fat pulled over a normal bucks body! Geez nice deer.

How much did your packs weigh on the way out and how far of a pack was it?

After a closer look it is definately a awesome deer regardless.  For those that care it is cross breed I'd say..check out the muley ears.
Take up your bow, a quiver full of arrows, head out to the country and hunt some wild game.  GEN 27:3

...and just about killed ourselves packing it out.
I'll bet you did!  The questions is will you go back to the same place next year?  If you're like me you'll swear it off forever until the season approaches and then you'll decide to make the trek again.  And again, and again. ;)  Beautiful buck!

It only takes me about a month to start dreaming about it again!  Really nice "cascade bt"... very impressive! Congrats!
