30-06 180 Hornady SP Interlock

Any body reloading 30-06 with 180 SP Hornady's?
What have you found for good powder / grains?  :bfg:

Here is my load info gun 30-06 tikka t3 light, federal case 56 grains of RL17 cci 200 primer avg vel 2775 5 shots touching at 100 yards. Forgot 180 hornady flatbase b.c. 425
 This is almost max in my gun so start at 52 grains or so and work up.

4350 is another good powder for that weight bullet according to my books.

I've shot some really tight groups with that bullet over H4831SC out of a Win M70.  Even was crimped at the cannelure.

There are thousands of people that will swear by IMR4064 in the 30-06 case.

Thanks for your comments. Looks like I need to choose one of the powders mentioned and work with it.

4064 is good and so are either of the 4350's (IMR and Hodgdon.)  4831 is a slower burning powder and when I tried it in the 30-06, it was difficult getting enough powder in the case, and when you do, you end up compressing it down when you seat the bullet. Which is why my preference is H4350. It's the slowest burning powder that fills up the case just enough so that you don't have to compress it excessively to get the bullet in. I prefer Hodgdon because it's temperature insensitive. IMR is not.
