after much looking I finally found a tent maker to make me a pyramid tent from 7.5 ounce sunforger canvas.at 12 lbs it is heavy for backpacking but it will work just fine for me.after having a 8 man kifaru for a season I have been on a mission to find a light canvas tent.no more condensation ever!I also used a kifaru stove and while really light it warped pretty bad. I sold it with the tipi.has anyone used the 4 dogs bannerman ti stove ? at 5 lbs it would work and it looks durable.I use 4 dogs titanium pipe in my riley flapjack stove ,9 lbs with pipe,when I take my explorer tent while llama packing and it works great but I never used their stoves. 9 lbs is ok but I would like to get it to 5.
