Is it legal to bait coyotes in Washington state?

Yup, bait away. The only thing (to my knowledge) you cannot bait is Bear

Yes you can bait anything except bears, game birds and waterfowl.

I hear the coyotes love doughnuts in July and August- some years they will hit a good doughnut pile all the way thru November.

Sounds too boring for me. I've seen gutpiles sit for 3 days before the yotes get brave enough to eat them.

YES they do and tie a salmon carcus to your boot when walking in really makes thing interesting
