Colville Bucks
« on: April 26, 2008, 04:55:17 PM »
Here are a few from the past from the Colville Rez. Some of you may know the gentleman who shot these.  He was a very nice guy.  One of the gentleman who got banned from here earlier this year was a big fan over in Sliders thread on MM.  Joe was the head of the fisheries dept for the Colville tribe.  One heck of a hunter.  he had the number 2 whitetail in the state for a long time.  Anyhow, he had one heck of a trophy collection in his garage, which I guess burned down a couple years ago, and he lost them all.  Anyway, I snapped a couple shots back then.  I have more somewhere.  He has a house full of boys, so I assume they are hammering bucks now.

Hey Bone I didnt know you lived over there. We have a cabin at Twin lakes. Beutiful  country. I go over and call turkeys in for my buddies after I get done hunting in our season. We usually have a blast.

Nice bucks too!!

Twin Lakes is awesome.   My ex grew up with her family in Inchelium.  One of the few whitefolks there.  Leave it to me to marry a blonde Sq***.  So much for those hunting rights.   I lived in Inchelium for several months and drove to Colville.  We then moved to Chewelah and I worked in Colville and she worked in Spokane.   I spent lots of time over there.  We then divorced and I remained in Chewelah and worked in Colville where I met my wife Roseann.  We then moved back to Yakima.  Its sure gorgeous over there.  Her moms BEST friend ran Rainbow beach resort for several years.  Couldn't hadnel the tribal politics though.  That bucks picture was taken at the entrance to the lake at Peones old house before he moved closer to town.
